Like acid. Totally could be taken as acid, as in the burns-your-skin-off type of acid, or the drug. Works either way. I mean, damn if my life doesn't feel like an acid trip sometimes, and the way this first chapter is written works if you're going with that type of acid. Jumps from one POV to another in the best way. Sort of surreal in the way it's written. Or, if it's the other type, it still works, since clearly Axel feels like living life burns like acid, and Sora's attraction to Riku probably burns a little too. Works both ways.

And I'm overthinking things, as always, and rambling, as always.

I love the style, the present tense works and makes it feel more... immediate. Closer, somehow. Great start to the story.

It's been, like, two years since you wrote it, and I'm not even sure of you're going to continue it, but it would be great if you did. It sounds wonderfully angsty and I absolutely adore well-written stories with my favorite pairings. Please don't abandon this. I'd like to read more of it.
