I'm quite impress with this story! Its the first "human AU" I have encounter of Yu Yu Hakusho that actually worked. My only disappointment is that Youko did not have a solo appearance, however, I will admit that would have just been a bonus to what ended up being an excellent "slice of life" kind of story.

I remember when this story was first posted and keeping up with it as I grew from a one-shot to what it is now. Now, three years later, it's still a story I come back to because it's just a sweet, heartwarming, well written read. Lol, now I'm just waiting on that darn sequel! Honestly I had a thought this time around when Maya was mentioned, what if she had become pregnant with Kurama's child then passed away about 12 years later and the child went to live with Hiei and Kurama? Kinda cool. If you're still interested in this fandom and this universe, it would be a good idea. But still, great story, I love it and always will. XD

i think this 'out of character' thing is great! you've put all of them into different situations, and they've had to grow from them, instead of what happened to them in the show or manga. i really like what you're doing, it's beautiful!
