Reading these TxM years later and damn, I still love them. They are my favorite pairing from Batman Beyond. Well... actually the only pairing I ship in BB.

I have to admit, I like Melanie a lot more than I like Dana :\.

The irony of Melanie thinking that Terry's eyes hid nothing from her is that they hid the biggest parts of him at all. As in canon, she's not in love with Terry, she's in love with the ideal of him. I'd love to see how she reacted to finding out that he wasn't what she thought, and how badly she'd take it.

I like this very much. Melanie was in fact my favourite pairing with Terry (I think Dana is a prune with a bad attitude). I like the explanation of how her parents were, and how that contrasted so drastically with her interaction with Terry. It makes it so clear how and why she was attracted to him so strongly. I appreciate the emotion of it.

This was really good. It totally brought me back to the show; I could mentally see and hear everything so clearly. VERY good job; I'm glad I read it.

You certainly do this pair justice, Vytina. All the longing, unrequited love, and unspoken sentiments shifting between the two is conveyed seamlessly in your work.

Melanie is captured well and the story aides me in imagining the budding love she held for him that blossomed over time only left to wither. What if, what if, what if ... that's all that can be said about matter.

For those of us who wished more happen for these two. This is a romantic turn at how she came to love him all the more with their parting.

Seriously they could have been great together aside from the issues that surrounded their lives. You certainly write her a lot better than I think I have.

And no, you're not the only one who ships this, trust me. I've made about four different Terry/Melanie AMVs on Youtube and I've written a fic about them (that I unfortunately no longer update). The Terry/Melanie ship is pretty much the 2nd most popular one in the fandom-Terry/Max being first if fanfiction is any indication. Therefore, don't be discouraged. I'd be happy to read any other Terry/Melanie fics you have. Keep up the great work!
