Misfit Muse chapter 1 . 7/16/2013
Omg! Yes! This is awesome. I know that this has been published up on this site for a while, but I just couldn't help myself. I had to comment and tell you how wonderful this is. I am a huge Takarazuka fan, and Elisabeth just happens to be my favorite production. So, you essentially combined everything I love and cherish into a single story. Thank you so much! :)

Oh, I looked at some of the other comments, and I must admit that I am also a bit curious as to which Death actress you chose...I pictured Sena Jun, because she's dreamy and fabulous. Lolz.

Ok I HAD to read this because you used the Japanese death, and honestly I thought about the Takarazuka Elisabeth when I was reading as well. I think this is definitely one of the more interesting interpretations I've came to read, and even though I'm not a fan of girl/girl, I'm totally convinced in my mind that it can happen. You wrote it well, the way the Elisabeth rejects Death throughout the play is exceptionally consistent with this so I really can believe that it is canon, even though I know it's not.

Also the decision to leave out some of the extremely defining traits of any one of the Deaths give me a lot of freedom in imagining which one of the versions it is. I know one reviewer said Mizu popped up but for me the respect for Sissi's decisions make it Sena for me. Bah, I should go watch the other troupes' versions as well. Can't always be thinking about the same Death and Elisabeth all the time.

New Vogue Ravyn chapter 1 . 7/8/2010
This is really lovely. There's a really sensual atmosphere in the story, particularly at the end. I think it's a very interesting idea to present the Takarazuka Death/Todd as actually female. It adds a whole new dimension to Elizabeth's reluctance towards their relationship.

BTW which Takarazuka actress were you thinking of when writing Death? To me the description you gave sounds a bit like Mizu Natsuki, but since she's my favourite I would picture her anyway. I'm just curious...
