Suchb a sweet ending

It was a beautiful story! I totally loved it—both the parts, really! And I loved the scenes where Snape scolded him like a child because Harry never had anyone to tell him what’s right and wrong. He would be both a stern and caring father... And then when Snape hugged him, however occasionally that was...:P

I absolutely love and applaud you for actually giving Harry a disability. So many times a massive ritual takes place where the effects are unknown or he’s injured terribly and there are almost never any consequences for it. It makes this so much more real and adds another facet to Harry’s character which is always welcome! Congrats on an incredible job and thank you for writing and sharing your work with us!

Dear Oliver Snape I come back to both of your "The Definition" stories often as I find that you are able to quickly (in 14 chapters vs 35 or 70) build a beautiful, solid & loving father/son relationship between Severus and Harry.

I do enjoy long fanfiction as well, but often one needs a story that gets to the point and evokes the emotion you seek in a day not month of reading :)

Should ever doubt your talent, gift or skills as a writer please know that your writing - in these 2 stories - has saved my life twice; gotten me inspired and back on track.

I say 'thank you' as is the convention, yet that is wholly insufficient.

I read the prequel to this as well as this story, obviously. I have to say that I love what you've done with your idea. It was brilliant. I really enjoyed each time you made Harry 6 years old in body only just to basically snuggle up to Snape. It was ao adorable and there was a good reason each time. Harry needed to stay in character. Very clever indeed.

I also like how you killed off Voldemort in the end. It was a good idea and well-executed.

On the other hand, there was one thing I was less fond of. The trip into the Netherlands was amusing at first but I didn't particularly like Snape and Harry to go back there. It just gave me the feeling that perhaps you are from the Netherlands yourself and were basically saying: 'look at all these cool places.'

I'm from Belgium myself and since I'm able to understand the Dutch it was likewise amusing at first but felt out of place the longer it dragged on. But that's just my opinion of course.

You are a good writer. You use a lot of detail to depict your scenes but not too much so they don't become boring. I thoroughly enjoyed the angsty scenes and the awkward ones even more so. You have an excellent sense of humour and made me laugh on several occasions. You really have Snape's snarkiness down!

All in all, very well done. Thank you for all your hard work as I'm sure it took ages to write this monster.
