Think that I have loved this story even more on this second read through. Wonderfully well written, & very appropriate that Rodderick Brice’s heroics & achievements are finally told.
Love the thought that the Henge brings & the TARDIS are plotting things together.

Have read this story before (not sure if I reviewed at that time) & am rereading it again. Think I am enjoying it more this second time through.

Wouldn't Jack just show up here sometime? instead of them having to go back in time? since Jack keeps going like the energizer bunny. He keeps going and going and going and going... So he would be showing up somewhere after he was taken, wouldn't he? Like in the show when he showed up. I know that he got them to freeze him so when Gray went away eventually Jack could find Torchwood and have them freeze him. I know this makes for a fantastic story. It just dawned on me that Jack would still be around some place.

This was a perfect Jack/Ianto story!

I've read quite a few stories with a similar premise where Ianto has retconned himself before Jack returns, but this was definitely my favourite! I love that it had the perfect mix of romance as well as a really well thought out procedural aspect with the stones and then John returning! It was perfect!

Looking forward to reading the sequel! :)

Why is it that everyone puts Gwen as SIC? Actually Owen is. (s1 e13 Captain Jack), And as much as she told Jack she lead them while he was away, I saw Owen lead the field operation and her telling everyone (already doing their jobs mind you)what to do when they got back. If you actually listen to the exchange between Ianto and her, you hear him telling her what he's already doing. Ugh I hate her. Right from the first time you meet her. Arrogant, selfish bitch. And I can give examples if need be.

You always put Gwen as such a wonderful person. We all know (especially if Ianto was gone), given the chance Gwen would be all over Jack.

I wish you would have mentioned somewhere if Ianto got his memories back or not. I'm still not sure about it. Apart from that: "Thank you" for sharing this story.

You know this is one of my favorite stiries and I'm just rereading it. I have to say how much I like that their rings are worn on their left thumbs. I think that is brillant.
