This story was delightful. the ending sucked donkey dung and made no sense. I don't understand How Anubis was so powerful? Chaya was much older and should have been more powerful than half ascended Anubis. Quite frankly even though it is canon I consider the ascended in charge to by hypocritical genocidal mass murderers. They use any excuse to break their own laws and commit genocide as a supposed punishment against violators.

My last review was in regards to your resource collection being boring. I meant it as constructive criticism. I also realize that you intended to go over the top with many things. Over all the story is quite enjoyable.

I could not help but comment. What is the difference between water and rock? Basically the only resource that maters for your Alteran tech you described is energy. If you can transform any mater into any other mater I really don't see the difference between stone and water. As far as story telling goes I really dislike that idea. As far as I am concerned having only one resource that matters makes for a story with extreme limited scope. I prefer a story that requires the acquisition of numerous resources. Oh I have a bunch of ZPM,s I am all powerful and can create anything I want now. Boring!

So this ends with Harry and Chaya's deaths. So sad...

But still, this was a great story!

I'm very grateful to you for writing this story. It's no doubt one of the best attempts at merging the urban fantasy from Harry Potter with the (historical) science fiction from the Stargate franchise. While your writing felt uninspired in the last few chapters, that shouldn't detract from the tale you spun before it got to that point. I assume you lost your muse and wanted to be done with the project? In any case, I doubt my feedback will matter any, since it doesn't look like you've been on this site for the better part of a decade, but a thank you is always worth writing.
