Heyo, loving the fic so far but I can't help but point out that Ezio is in no way related to Altiar. Ezio is from Desmond's mother's ancestry while Altair is from his father's side or vice verse. But the point stands that Ezio isn't Altair's decedent in anyway.

This was perfect okay I read it and wow, it totally enlightened me to some aspects of Shaun's character that I hadn't thought about. And this is definitely going on my rec list.

Your characterization of every character is fantastic, which is one of the most important things for me when reading fanfiction. I love Shaun's sense of humor, and the way he interacts with everyone. Lucy and Rebecca are fantastic, too, and though there wasn't much of Desmond, I'm excited to see how you write for him. The bit about Rebecca and Shaun reacting to the Animus was so cool. It hadn't occurred to me that they would have no idea how it worked, and I love Shaun is a little weirded out by watching people who are long since deceased. (Laughed so hard at the part with Federico horrified by Ezio's Leap of Faith.)

Can't wait for the romance! Thanks for sharing this! It's so great.

I've read this story before but for some reason it was not in my favorites, so I had to search the internet for half an hour to find this! I'm so glad I did; it's one of my favorite Shaun/Des fics ever. You are such a fantastic writer, and I love ever single one of your Assassin's Creed fics. Thanks so much for writing this whole thing. You did such a wonderful job with all the characterizations, and I like how you set things up slowly and at a realistic pace. And chapter 20, the scene of Desmond's freak out where Altair didn't understand Malik having two arms IS MY FAVORITE THING IN THE WHOLE WORLD.
