I enjoyed this story for several reasons. First of, the fact you've explored a platonic relationship between Snow and Light. I firmly believe that Snow is utterly dedicated to Serah and it completely turns me off when people insist on writing fanfiction where he literally goes 180 and starts lusting after Lightning ( I do not see it as love whatsoever.)

The familial relationship you wrote was touching and cute. I also adore your Snow; you've added so much depth to him; which I find fitting. Though, I still think he needs a job. (He's supposed to be job-less, according to the prequel Novel of the game. Hence, one of the main reasons Lightning disliked him. Among many other things.) Given we're in Gran Pulse, he has improved vastly from chapter 1. I couldn't stand him until the end of chapter 7.

As always, your Hope was absolutely endearing; more concerned with others than himself even if he's sick.

I have to agree with you in regards to his Dad; there is a good possibility Bartholomew may be dead. If Cid was the one who handled Bartholomew's care; who is to say he's still alive? Cid is a slave of the fal'Cie after all and even if Rygdea could have spirited him away, the Cavalry were turned into Cei'th and ultimately the tools of Barthandelus. Bartholomew may have been killed by his order. I think Barthandelus would kill Bartholomew since it will further drive Hope to despair and, as he said, it is where humans gain their 'strength'. Miracles through misery.

If not by Barthandelus' hand, Bartholomew have gottehn himself killed while doing something to ensure his son's protection and future. He is a parent first and foremost; given his clear intelligence, I think he'll think of the far-reaching effects of this ordeal. The fact we never see him again . . . well, that isn't very assuring.

Anyway, thank you so much for writing this fanfic; I had a great read!

I love this story!

It was great to see Snow and Light get along and work as a team. That was easily my favourite part of their relationship at end game, and you captured it well here. Also, it was nice to see Snow as more than just a joke.

I liked the sleeping descriptions at the beginning too. Sazh made me chuckle...

Nice and very heart warming. Ending left a smile on my face lol~

This is impressive story. Yes, Snow has sure looked like a family man type. (The way he described his dream about big happy family in the game made me thought about that ) While Lightning even she had soft spot and cared for Hope but I think that still not close as mother or sister type but more like comrade, close friend, superior or mentor type.

(Both Lightning and Snow considered adopt Hope. Did they think Hope’s dad could not make it survive? _’ )
