The noise I made when Cynthia showed up! I reread this story every once in a while and always wistfully think of Jenny and Cynthia getting some resolution. And here it is! I loved this. I was grinning the whole way through. Thank you!

The story was excellent, and the extra chapters were the best thing I've ever read! I hope the story continues!

There are some stories you will always remember for originality of concept if nothing else, but it is a rare storyline indeed that actually makes that concept really work, no matter how unconventional it was at the start.
From the beginning, you create a very natural if unconventional ‘bond’ between Dawn and J, starting with J becoming intrigued at Dawn’s natural compassion even in the face of their history with each other and going on to look at just how this brief moment affects the two of them.
As we witness J’s inability to forget Dawn’s statement that she has a heart, it’s intriguing to see how the hunter attempts to determine if she does or doesn’t have one herself, beginning with her releasing that Frolass and then acting to help Dawn just because has the opportunity to do so. Dawn and J’s subsequent meetings reinforce the high standards set from the start, neither entirely certain why they’re doing this even as they have no reason not to rendezvous and talk.
While I feel that you ‘chickened out’ of addressing the age gap issue between the two women- even if we assume Dawn’s mother was a young prodigy, if J had the time to gather those kind of resources, it creates a difference that should be intimidating when Dawn’s not much more than ten, even if they don’t ‘do’ anything until she’s in her teens- you certainly find a nice balance as you explore J’s past, ‘justifying’ how she can be as ruthless as she was in the show while still giving her a personal history that allows Dawn to understand and accept her feelings for her.
Add in your rather nice look at what their life together is like once J’s dealt with her old business and moved on to her new career, and you have an excellent storyline here; congratulations.

I ADORED this cute story. J is so tough and bad*ss and Dawn is her usual cheery and cute self, and they complement each other perfectly. I literally read this whole story in one day!

If you ever decide to make another extra chapter (please, please do) I'd love to see Cynthia finding out about Jen's crush, or Brock getting to officially meet J. But anything else in this story would be totally awesome!

I read through these extra chapters and they were all incredibly well written and highly engaging. The way you fleshed out what Dawn and J would've done after the main story was well done and the details on Jenny and Cynthia's interactions were quite interesting. This Christmas chapter was quite heartwarming, especially the end where their first friendly interaction was referenced.

I'm at a loss for words at the awesomeness of this story. It was original, engaging, plausible, emotional, and interesting. Well done
