Kerowyn130 chapter 1 . 4/14/2010
I had to pause after reading this and just let the results of it wash over me. I'm a total sucker for well-written regrets and this is a doozy. There's such an unbearable sadness to the conclusion of this piece because, as a reader, I can see all of the pivotal moments turning out differently. She's basically trapped herself in this horrible box and she couldn't see her way out of it. I loved loved the way you set up Miranda's frame of reference with the first section. Amazing to see how something so seemingly insignificant can shape an entire life. You totally get a cookie for this. Thanks for writing!

Heart-wrenching while maintaining perfect Miranda-ness. (This angst even as Edinburgh experienced a bout of glorious weather!) Your work continues to awe. :)

So beautiful and sad and...and...

Good lord, my eyes are tearing. This strikes such a chord in me.
Polgaria chapter 1 . 4/13/2010
This is inexplicably beautiful.

I don't have the vocabulary, or the coherance to properly describe how lovely this was, is-

Truly a work to be savoured.
