I like that initially the "in ... out ..." appeared to be Seiran trying to calm himself/trying to remember to breathe (!), which turned out to be STILL appropriate even after it was revealed that the in-out was describing Shurei's breathing. Great trick!

Too bad about the word-count, it would have done nicely for the prompt "Awakening".

I tell you, when I first read the line where Seiran feels Shuurei's warm breath on his earlobe, my heart jumped. I scrolled up to look at the rating, and since it wasn't a T, disappointingly, I knew they weren't exhausted from more 'fun' activities.
