I absolutely love your writing, I think I am little to late to faun this, and I would love to read how it continues and how it ends
Loved the story really

Holy shit. This is the best fic I have read in a long time. Your writing is beautiful and so poetic. The dynamic between Chas and John is... it's just perfect. I love the soft spots and hard edges you showed us. You cracked their skulls open and let us see inside, and it was magnificent.

Okay, so, the plot. I've never seen anything like this, and the idea feels wonderfully fresh and is beautifully executed. The chapters and scene breaks in them flow seamlessly, and I like all the song lyric/quotes preceding the chapters. The idea of John having to rape Chas for a ritual was very intriguing and his inner conflict really showed the reader his not often (outwardly seen) goodness and desire to DO goodness for reasons that aren't selfish.

Papa Midnite's character seemed spot on. The longing between Chas and John was palpable, and a bitter sweetness felt prevalent throughout the story.

The hurt/comfort between Chas and John was honestly to die for. John wants to protect Chas, but he only seems to hurt him (in his eyes).

And Chas loves John, wants to be close to him in spite of the thorns the man uses to protect himself.

I just love this so much. You're a wonderful writer and I so appreciated reading this. Thank you for filling my afternoon with emotions.

Please do continue with this! Would love to see how things turn out between the two. Whether John remains a bastard or he let Chas help. Really really enjoyed this fic and thank you for all your hard work!

What a great story... I read this years ago when you first published it and now I'm returning to to update my own fanfictions and to read the stories I stored in 'favourites' all those years ago, of which this is one of them :-) I think once I've finished reading this... I should probably start reading a lot of your other stories too; there are many! Anyway, fantastic story.. you characterize Chas and Constantine so well.

This story is fantastic. I love that it's an AU take on the movie verse with more focus on John. I would love to see this story be finished-your characterization is perfect, and its so nice to see a long Constantine fic that is well written.
