.. ummmm ... I can't say it's badly written, but for a fic that tries to display ninja children as deep personalities refusing to allow deep understand to ppl who teach the next generation of ninja ... is very very weird

I am a huge sucker for any and all rookie 9 fics and this was great!

I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this.

Their answers brimmed with the honesty and innocence that only a child knows. I agree that children are smarter than what adults perceive them to be and you completely nailed it. It's heartwarming and absolutely touching.

You pointed all the small differences that most people glazed over in the manga and anime. You GAVE justice to these "side" characters and presented a completely new depth to their person. My perspective and opinion of them shifted to view them more realistically and to actually see them as *people with flaws*.

I loved every bit that you put into this and I swear my you wrenched my heart in some places ESPECIALLY that last one with Naruto ("...But I was being serious"). Honestly, I want to you you praises for making my day monumentally better and for making this cute and BEAUTIFUL story.

LOVE the story and LOVE the way you wrote this. This should be canon because its really THAT good. That's hardly all that I have to say, but hopefully it's covered my main points. TY!

How pretty!

I myself am extremely proud of Ino's section. I was seriouy wondering what you would do for her XD But I loved all! Every single one. It really brought out a difference that I myself was having some trouble finding. I was a little sad that you hadn't done Gai's team, but with or without their sections this is beautifully amazing and basically perfect! The insight on each character. I mean, you made Ino a genius flat out (most people would just ignore her section because they think she's stupid) and that was so great! Ino is amazing!

I can't even single out any of these sections to say which is my favourite because I loved them all. Your writing style makes people stop and think for a moment. I believe that is too what I would like to do. I just can't express myself properly at all! Sasuke, Naruto, Hinata, Shino, Sakura -my gosh all of them! Every single one you've written about! I just can't get enough of this oneshot!

This is good, and there are a lot of well thought out points. but wouldn't it be nice if these points were focused in a more spread out chapter story? I just feel as though there are so many people writing one-shots like this. Even chapter stories are written in this pace and structure and it annoys me because there are just too many like this... i mean what happened to one pov stories where character development, secrets, and idea's happened or were dicovered over time instead of all within the first couple of chapters? What happened to stories that had limited to no Flashbacks and time skips? It would be so wonderful to read about how the teachers and jonin would react to learning these facts. Kind of like a vengeance thing with the respective characters gaining from it. Maybe they learned about thses points not long after they graduated (like the students) and set out to not only fix thses problems but to fix the academy. lol sorry for the rant, but i hope i made sense and maybe gave you an idea?

This is really deep... Especially if you're reading this at 4am after not sleeping the whole night...

I liked this. It was a nice little piece of character examination, giving some extra depth to some of the characters who didn't have much in the manga. I'd like to say other things too, but I'm having a hard time putting it into words. This was just a nice one shot that added some extra detail and interest to the characters and how the academy could miss things.
