I generally don't like a story with a lot of angst, and I almost stopped reading this one. However, I'm glad that I stayed until the end. The other miss for me was glossing over Highever and Fergus. Again, with all of the family angst, there was no payoff with a reunion and dedication to rebuilding. I never saw Cousland as a long-term warden commander given what happened to him/her. So, seeing that here was a miss, IMO.

The wolf was either Flemeth, Fen'harel the dread wolf, or Urthemiel.

The characters, the settings and the flow of this astounding tale, it was nothing short of pure genius. I can only hope that this isn't the last story you wrote with this great couple.

Whew! Great chapters so far! I really believe you're staying true to the characters and how either would react to the love they feel for each other. Unfortunately, I have to stop reading now since I haven't finished the game but I'll be back for the rest afterward!

I really like your writing. I was giggling so much over Oghren and Shale's interaction with Morrigan. It was so in character. Poor Morrigan so conflicted, her barriers are pretty much crumbling due to our virile manly man of a Warden heh

Oohh wow! There's so much in this chapter! I love how you established our Warden and painted him in a way that we could see his core morals. Also the way you fleshed out Morrigan is great, I actually did like her character, I found her intriguing and witty but since I usually play a female warden who romances Alistair my liking of her is shadowed by the dark ritual. This is the first fic I've read in which the Warden is a male so thankfully I won't have deal with the distasteful dark ritual and how it affects the female warden. Great start!

I just finished reading your story and I really enjoyed it. You portrayed Morrigan perfectly. I cant wait for the sequel to this story.
