I know this is a fic from 2010 and a whole decade has passed, but this is so gorgeous and well written that I couldn’t in good conscience, leave without giving a review. I cried so much and I loved it, loved how you painted this more jaded, damaged Ryouma so desperately in love with tennis but trapped in a world that doesn’t let him play to his fullest. The eerie pleasantries/manipulations from Yukimura were just the right mix of unsettling and angsty. And Kirihara! You made me hate him, understand him and finally forgive him. Thank you for writing this fic!

Not going to lie I was shipping Kirihara and Ryoma together though half of this story.
