Poor Canada! Chapter 9 ...

I absolutely love this ffiction , as a Hetalian and a LM. I read these first few chapters and I'm going to continue the rest. I just wanted to say I few things about this fifth chapter :

First , thanks for not making Belarus a psychopatic Russia fangirl.

Second , the song you used , Dance in the Dark , is in my opinion inappropriate for this text. You're talking about feminine problems and these monthly meetings while the song is about a girl who can't have sex with the lights on. That's why " When he looks at her she falls apart " , she 'dances' in the Dark. ( Scheisse , for example , is a better choice. But from what I read until here , you're using Pre-Born This Way songs. )

As soon as I saw "Monster" in the title for my Prussia search, and saw that it had to do with Lady Gaga, I knew that this was something good. As I read, I realized it wasn't just something good. This is something funny, and, in the words of Prussia, awesome.

I read this whole thing - twenty-eight chapters - in about three hours. WORTH. EVERY. SECOND of rabid .

I got to the world cup chapter, and suddenly, SHAKIRA. What's better than awesome? I don't know. Beyond awesome.

BUT THEN! A Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert Reference? Ma'am, I think I know love now, because this is so far beyond awesome that I can't NOT love it, and if that made any sense to you, please explain what I just said to me because I have just exploded my own brain.

This. This story has rewritten at least half of my headcanon, the wonderful in-character-ness and interactions and dialogues... and reminded me to find all those Lady Gaga songs. This has made my day. THIS. I gave it to all my hetalia-reading friends before I was even halfway through it. THIS has become my number one favorite Hetalia fic, and I am going to link it on my page. This, over the straight hours I read it, slowly caused me to squeal fangirl-ly ALOUD.

Especially I wish to mention "Speechless" as I did cry a bit at that. I don't know why, but I am a sucker for those sorts of make-you-cry stories. (It was cathartic or something.) Additionally, I am addicted to Prussia like Ke$ha is addicted to lo... sex. Yeah. So, that probably helped.

Now for my minor nitpicky mostly-personal-peeves criticism. I am probably the only weirdo who notices but you used the dialogue tag "shouted" a LOT. (I'm trying to remember other problems I had, but I can't really think of anything.) Uh. Your Italy scares me a bit. xD

Um, um, I thought of something else, but dammit, all I can think of is "please marry me in a totally platonic way". I GIVE UP. Time to go link ya on my profile then stalk your other stories.

You just blew my mind 27 times. Lady Gaga and Hetalia are two things on my 'List of Awesome', so when I found this fic I was blown away. I must say that the 'Bad Romance' chapters have to be my favourite. You described the dance so vividly it made me want to choreograph one with my friends!
