Objects reflect the color(s) they can't absorb. But I saw a video of something being dropped in black liquid, possibly paint, when it rippled you could see all the other colors for just a moment.

Oh wow. I really feel so sad for Abby and you've written her so well. Not overly crazy and dramatic but totally real and hurt. Love it. And I'm thrilled to know there are more stories in this universe.
