That was one of the best Tarsus IV stories I have read. It is lovely to see that Jim interact with someone else than Bones or Spock, although I feel that it is a double edged sword by not including them into this story it feels like he has been abandoned by his two friends as well as his family.

Great characterization throughout, with a great depth of analysis of there behaviours making a very enjoyable story. I really enjoyed the swimming scene, it was well balanced and in-keeping. Thank you for sharing!

wonderful! i love tarsus fics. it always bothered me that everyone, including Uhura, had thought that jim was merely a 'dumb hick.' but in this fic, she certainly realized that that was a mistake. love it, keep up the good work!
