I'm glad I saw this, I was actually hoping for an 'Erik meets the family' thing in the original story. I just realized that, for some reason, I like seeing Erik squirm a little (not to the point of truly angering him, just kinda teasing him a bit) so maybe that accounts for part of my wanting to read this. *just butchered that sentence, but is too tired to care*

Wait... if Christine had a family, she would not be living at the opera longing for the Angel of Music because her father wouldn't be dead to send him and thus Erik and Christine would probably have never met.

Excellent job with Erik! His awkwardness at the table, his feelings, all amazing! This was really excellent!

How perfect! I wasn't sure how this dinner would turn out-Erik usually has a tough time being around anyone, including Nadir. I like how Erik feels jealous of Nadir's ease with her family.

The way marriage was brought up was sweet - I was wondering if that subject would come up in the story so I'm delighted to see it showed up here.

Well, that turned out rather cute. lol Not many stories have the prospect of Erik meeting the family and especially not on a good note. That was a nice break from the norm. Can't wait to read more of the story. ;)

Yes, this was interesting. They broached the subject of marriage before our couple could talk about it in private, amoung other things. Talk about pressure! At least the family aired out their concerns so no one can't say they didn't know. Thanks!
