That's a bit ... sad. Garrus doesn't seem to be really happy with Shepard. It rather seems as if he thought he owed her something, or even like a friendly turn. He is even more reluctant about the whole relationship than in the game. And Shepard is a bit ... intrusive. Did she really need to persuade him if he didn't agree to sex with her at first? Didn't she ask herself if she was imposing herself on him?

I loved this story it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside :)Good job giving those of us who felt jipped by the little headbump in the garrus/shepard romance some happiness.

This was actually surprisingly readable from a complete Mass Effect ignorant's point of view. The main problem was getting an overview of Garrus and keeping track of which other folks were different and how. The former got sort of solved bit by bit throughout the fic, for the latter part I mostly stayed uninformed.

We spent half an hour investigating how allergies work afterwards, too. Damn you for introducing suspicion about the biological functioning of wrong-handed amino acids in our minds! :D (Orwell - what a Freudian misplacing of space, right there - I could take half the blame since after it got stuck in my head I had to share the pain right away.)
