Cas has been taking care well of sammy during long time until it went to knock down " sam's great wall " and because of it dean wanted to see badly so dead man to cas, but cas without all these souls of the purgatory it loves sammy so much as it loves dean, already it demonstrated it

How incredibly heartbreaking. Poor Sam. He's gone through so much and still continues to. There was so much emotion written into just one small story like this. You have a way with words.

Interesting interaction with Sam and Castiel and Castiel's thoughts on Sam's. Unfortunately, your four year idea for everyone doesn't work. John and Mary had ten normal years together. Dean went back in time first in 1973, and that is when Mary and John got together for their normal life after her family's death, presumably married right after. They just didn't have any children right away. Dean and Sam go back again in 1978 and Mary is pregnant, Dean to be born presumably Jan 1979. Sam was born in May of 1983, the year Dean was four, and she died in Nov when Sam was six months old before Dean would have turned five in January. The ten year deal was up the month Sam was born, but the yellow eyed demon didn't show up until Sam was 6 months old because that was when he wanted to mark his 'special' children. Sorry long story, but the point being John and Mary were together and living a normal life for over 10 years from 1973 to 1983.

Loved this. Simple yet insightful. Interactions between Castiel and Sam don't seem to happen much on the show, so it is nice to see it addressed here. And you did it beautifully - Sam certainly deserves to be redeemed doesn't he?

Plus I never notices the four year pattern before, I wonder if there is a reason behind that...? Anyway great fic :D

I really loved this story. I liked how you wrote both Sam and Castiel. I enjoy reading stories that just have Sam and Castiel bonding/understanding each other in it. Such stories aren't as common.
