Great story, I hope you're going to continue it.
AestheticFreeway chapter 1 . 7/30/2012
Love it but one thing Cody would not say Fuckin or Hell or Shit. But besides that love the story :)

This is really nice, I like it! Sorry I just made an account now.
owlhero chapter 10 . 2/2/2011
Lisa's issues with her past and her job seem to haunt her. I wonder how or if she will be able to get away. I liking the Reverend even more. He made his mistakes but he trying to help Lisa realize hers before its too late especially if its means following her heart.

I am amazed by how high a pedistal they put Wilkinson on. The bigger they are, the harder they fall.

After people die all that remains of them are memories. Without the memories, people are dead and did not exist.

I wonder who TJ was calling?
Deboa chapter 10 . 2/1/2011
Hmmm, I never know "The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things" is quoted from the Bible. Interesting indeed...

This was a very well written chapter. Lisa's emotions made her seem like the only humane Lacunar worker we are familiar with so far. She dug her own grave by joining Lacunar Inc and not she appears terrified at her own life. I wonder if she'll get out of this without major conflict. That seems like way too easy of a turnout though.

TJ continues to keep my suspicion up. Who was he calling at the end of that scene? He's definitely up to something!

The Reverend continues to give me more reasons to like him. He isn't just someone who spews nonsense, but he backs up anything he says. He knows his stuff, and that's why I admire him. I wonder how he will tie into the ending to this story though because I doubt you'll leave him unmentioned in the ending...

Nice updating speed you got going there. Keep it up!

It was definitely a great chapter, but your characterization of radical atheism is way off. Remember, religion has killed more people in this world than anything else.
tiger002 chapter 10 . 2/1/2011
Incredible job with the conversation between the Reverend and Lisa. Once again, I am amazed with your characterization, you've built them so well so that we can know the unseen dance of the words between the two. I admire you for being unafraid to portray the religious sides of the characters here, something that in a situation like this, needs to be told. And yet, as with all your stories, I don't feel like you are forcing a strong theme through this, just telling your story. Such a great story...update soon.
Waldojeffers chapter 10 . 2/1/2011
An unexpected update again but a good chapter! TJ's behaviour here was much more 'normal' than in the previous chapter, nothing suspicious here. ;)

I was starting to feel sorry for Lisa in the beginning but during the chapter that feeling started to disappear. Seems a bit arrogant from Lacunar Inc. to just ask for information from the reverend. And they expect that everyone will answer them right away out of fear... However I can see Lacunar Inc. threaten Conroy again.

Nevertheless the most interesting part was the flashback to when Cody was talking with Dr. Donovan. Looks like Cody wasn't that sure to go through with the forgetting Zack-plan. Dr. Donovan was using all his tricks to get Cody to forget about his brother. No morals indeed... I'm disgusted by him!

Great chapter anyway, keep up this high quality. :)

I can't wait to see what happens when they confront Lunar inc.
ohsnapitsmiriam chapter 9 . 1/26/2011
I really usually don't read stories with chapters but my mind kept on saying: "READ IT! READ IT!" so I did. This story is amazing, and the grammar is great. While I was reading, my mom asked me to go shopping with her and I usually would say yes- but I was too concentrated to this story that I had to keep reading. ahaha..
owlhero chapter 9 . 1/26/2011
i cant blame Carey for feeling the way she did. The emotional rollercoaster she was on was undescribable But a mother can never truly not love her child if she's sane. But then again does any parent expect their sibing, especially a twin, to totally forget their sibling ever existed? You showed her emotions to Cody in a magificant way.

I am little unsure of TJ with the fire. He's just little focused on this. I wonder why?

The scene at the grave was very heart wretching.

Cody was right when he said he killed Zack. A person is never truly dead until we forget about them. Cody's plan is not going to be very easy, that's for sure. This story is easily one of the story that I look forward to everytime its updated.
Deboa chapter 9 . 1/26/2011
Something is definitely up with that TJ guy. My prediction is that Cody was programmed by Lacunar Inc. to know who he is and TJ is a member of Lacunar watching over him. Why else would only Cody seem to know him and not his mother or Bailey? Also, the fact that TJ is so fixated on that fire can't be just a coincidence. That guy is definitely more than meets the eye. Maybe he had his memory wiped too and, for all we know, they were both programmed to know each other. That also explains why TJ wouldn't know Zack since he only befriended Cody like a day or two ago by this theory...

Anyway, enough of my predictions. As for Carry, she seemed like an absolute mess here. How would a mother that disowned her only living son while knowing the other one is dead possibly be happy anyway?

Deciding to go see Lacunar In at the end got me very worried. That plan could surely backfire on them. Cody isn't supposed to know about Zack, so Bailey could be in trouble for this. Also, the fact that Lacunar purposefully left that picture of Zack is killing me. There has to be a reason for that.

Please update soon! I'm dying to know where you're going with this and if my predictions were at least close.

Woww, just wow!
Waldojeffers chapter 9 . 1/25/2011
This was unexpected, but a nice surprise! :) Quite an emotional chapter we have here. You wrote the confrontation between Cody and Carey very well. The whole time I was expecting them to start shouting to each other or get into a fight. After all, it was very clear Carey is still furious at Cody for what he did. In fact it's probably thanks to TJ's behaviour we didn't see more conflict than there already was. Great scene!

While the scene at Zack's grave was just very sad. Cody might've been standing there with two friends I doubt he ever felt more alone than that moment: staring at the grave of a brother he can't remember. Sad, very sad. Have to say I do understand that Cody doesn't need to know how his brother died: he wants to remember his life after all. I'm very confused about TJ though: why does he keep going on about how Zack died? And why is he so 'obsessed' with the fire? What happened? We know he's been ordered by doctors as well, but more... TJ is an enigma here.

Cody's course of action now seems the right one although I doubt it would be that easy. More will happen inevitably, probably concerning the Father as well. I'm very intrigued by this story: great work, and great chapter! :)
