Such a sweet story! I enjoyed it immensely. My only beef is that I felt like Severus got off far too easy. He was horribly, viciously cruel to her when he dismissed her as he did. I under that he's quite damaged, but I wish there would have been a bit more fighting on his part to earn Hermione back. Other than that, it was a wonderful read!

This is such a wonderful, brilliant story. I don't "love" it, but I'm so in love with it. Really, I am amazed. I want to read more, please!

I loved this story. This is my second time reading it, and I have to say it made my top ten favorite list. Keep up the good writing!

That was beautiful. So succint, so simple, but so... true. Very poetic, too, and flowing quickly - but not too much, just enough to avoid what was unecessary.

It felt right, all along, their loneliness, the way they met, his hesitations (and that was tricky, because it could have been just another cliché), the end...

"...she looked up at him from red-rimmed blue eyes." Hermione does not have blue eyes. Unless you meant 'blue' as in unhappy, but it still reads as her having blue-colored eyes and she doesn't.

i'd normally say i'd grown apathetic to the cliche of snape pushing hermione away but your language is so poetic and style so succint that i couldn't help loving this piece. wonderfully done. thanks for sharing it with us :)

Nicely done. At first I thought things were flying too fast. She was stating he was lonely, she was lonely, asking to lunch so fast, but then it seemed to flow perfectly. I hate to see sad people and they just needed each other.
