While I do enjoy a certain slash fic now and then (sorry, gentlemen, but I just can't help myself, when it's well-written!), I agree that sticking to the characters'... well, characters, is always best in most stories. And you have outlined their situation in contextual and humourous ways.

This? This right here? This is brilliant. Given the abundance of slash fics floating around the 'net, I sometimes wonder if fandom hasn't quite grasped concepts like asexuality or 'bromance'; this was an affectionate and funny little jab. I giggled when Holmes annoys his lawyer by reading over her shoulder - of course the great misogynist detective wouldn't quite trust a legal counsellor with two X chromosomes! ;) Please, do keep going with this fiction writing thing...you have a knack for it.

Yeah, I've read all of the Sherlock Holmes books, and I never got the feeling that they were homosexual. If anything, Watson was a rake and Holmes was asexual.
