Aw, this story is really sweet and perfect. I wish the series could end this way - Dean is getting older and as far as I can see has no backup plan on the show. Running the road house and marrying Cas sounds like a good option to me! Thanks for sharing this.

I really like this story. Your version of the post-Apocalypse life is really interesting and realistic, and I like it. Nice job with this :).

I quite liked this, with the exception of Dean calling Cas babe XP. I liked how the relationship just evolved naturally and although I am typically a gen person this seemed like a realistically possible turn of events.

That was absolutely lovely. I fell in love with the way you wrote it, in sequences that really made me feel nostalgic and touched. It's utterly beautiful, and all the research you did hit me ;) Really great job.

Usually I just read gen, but I love this story so much. The slow progression reads as something that could actually happen. Dean breaking down at the end of shopping almost made me break down, and I love what his offer to teach Cas to drive means in Dean-speak.

I really like Gabriel so I'm glad he's included, along with his snarkiness. And there's mention of books, and reading, which always makes me happy because in my headcanon Cas & Dean both are readers. And Princess Bride! And I love that Gabriel has to stay & watch it!

The whole thing has so many nice moments & turns of phrase, and it just shines with how much they love each other. I love a real-sounding happily-ever-after, and this is one of the best.

I adore the Dean/Castiel pairing and I've read dozens upon dozens of takes on it. Yours, I thoroughly enjoyed. I thought the characterization was pretty much spot on, so don't fret about that! :-) The interaction with the other Angels was also really well done - funny stuff - Angels are people too it seems!

I was particularly impressed with the sex scene btw Dean and Castiel at the end. I really get tired of reading porn, so it's always a shiny-happy thing to read that wond'rous thing you've managed to create - an erotic scene that is as emotional as it is sexy. Well done :-D Will look forward to reading more of your works.

I really liked this story. I loved the way you wrote Gabriel in it too. And how Dean could sleep better when he was beside Cas and would hear the chant of the blessing that Cas said to him before he accepted Michael. Just really a beautiful fic.
