Love love love this fic-I keep coming back to read it, and I think this is at least my fifth time doing so. This version of their meeting is so awesome that I actually prefer it to the canon meeting. Your phrasings, wordings, and all that fun stuff are brilliant as always-this is my favorite of your fics that I've read in terms of that-and I love the idea of both Holmes and Watson asking after the other even though they're not sure why they care. Definitely one of my favorite fics ever! Thanks for writing :)

I checked your profile and how lucky am I to find that you've written another Sherlock Holmes fic which is just as amazing. I really do love all the detail you put - even to the point you'd mention 'Spanish' tiles instead of just usual kitchen tiles. Love it.

And I realized - I commented a while ago about how I loved your Gattaca fic - in this and the other Sherlock Holmes fic, you've written about a charactr played by Jude Law. Dear God. Gattaca was released over a decade ago (I feel old), but I guess Jude Law's hotness hasn't faded. :P

Perfect. I really adore how much detail you added, especially in the beginning, about their (or Watson's, I suppose) separate lives. It's nice to see a fanfic acknowledge the characters as separate entities before smushing them together; it makes their eventual coming-together mean so much more, you know?

Anyway, you have a lovely writing style, and a great pacing, wonderful characterisation and interactions, so I hope you'll continue. )

You've definitely got their manner of speaking and vocabulary down pat. And your spelling and grammar skills make me want to cry with joy. Nothing is better than a really good story with really good grammar... This is one of my favorite Holmes/Watson stories so far. There aren't very many but the stories are catching on fast. I feel like I should contribute as well...

Great writing. I love the wa they met and how they were both instantly fascinated with each other. Holmes immediately saw behind Watson's placid facade and it was great when he described to the good doctor what he saw. And boy, did sparks fly between those two! Lovely.

You are fucking brilliant.

So my only criticism is-that this is it! This is, by far the best Holmes I've read on here-great writing, great characters, sexy (but not senseless) smut! I love pieces that are Watson-centric, and I'm a sucker for a bit of angst with my hook-up scenes. I'd love to see you write more this 'verse, or start a new one. I'm adding your story to my faves and you to my alerts. And let me know if you ever want a BETA :-)

I liked this a lot! The quiet sadness was lifted at the end with Holmes' arrival. I feel like he was a light in the fog for Watson.

Not half bad. The only thing that I wanted to mention was that although it says that end at the bottom of the fic, this is marked as in-progress. You might want to change that to Complete.
