(Slight whine) this is a good spot to end it but I wish this wasn't a two shot and there was more story. Like how more and more of his star fleet family finds out about his secret. But I guess that could be made into a series of one shots

I think that Jim will be slightly drawn to Spock due to being an empath. In the movies it looked like they got into the roles of friends and brothers, I saw that with Jim and Bones as well especially in the 2nd movie. It looked like Pike could have been the father of 3 sons, and both of the old brothers try to lessen the trouble their youngest brother gets into and ultimately fails a good part of the time.
This sounds like this could be a great story.
