Great chapter. Things are really getting interesting and you hinted at many things. I can't wait to see what the next chapter will hold especially now that you decided not to follow the original to closely. I think your right and you should just go where ever the mood and story takes you. I also agree you should change the title of the story then. Here are a couple of suggestions I came up with. Lucky Fox or Kitsune luck or fox on the lose. Again great chapter I can't wait to see what you do next.

I love fox Naruto climbing on Hinata. I hope Itachi can get to Konoha quickly. But has Kisame taken the chance to leave Akatsuki or is he on a snipe hunt?

I don't get how your writing skills went downhill so fast. Sure, the first few chapters were decent not great, but good enough) but to see you make those mistakes again and again...Hiashi is mispelled over a dozen times...

Ok, the explanation was great, thought I'm not sure I could imagine the Death God calling someone 'kid' but who knows. I'm now assuming that the boy Kyuubi escaped in is physical

For me, this was far, far more believable than the original, Kyuubi actually being able to take over and the intervention of the Death God was quite interesting. A page break between Kyuubi and Naruto's point of view would have been very helpful. I'm confused as to what exactly happened, was Kyuubi pushed out of the body in a spirit form or physical fox body?
