For some reason, it annoyed him greatly when she referred to Penny as 'Malibu Barbie.'

And she knew it was stupid but she couldn't quash the feeling of hurt and loneliness when she pocketed the one he was supposed to be wearing.

He was looking again at his keychain, and she thought he was suppressing a didn't bother with hers.

I love BFF!Penny&Sheldon, partly because so many of my own best friends have been people I had strong negative reactions to when I first met them. This was a fun read.
