The emotional depth in which you go into in this fic is amazing. It could be slash but at the same time it could not be, there are quite a few mistakes that I saw but nothing that put me off reading. You've grasped the concept of Steve's character and given him a whole new line in which he could have followed had the books been narrated by him instead of Darren. Well done.
