I LOVE this story. It's so cute, and I can HEAR Zev's voice reading it out. It's perfect. You captures his persona so incredibly well! I can't feel Tabris so well but then again I suppose I play her in a different way so that's not really something you CAN capture :p

But yes, Zev is perfectly in character, imo. And you have a wonderful language, wonderful way with words. I will check def check out the rest of your stuff

I really enjoyed this. It had the perfect amount of amusement and seriousness to both be amusing, but still carry weight.

At first I thought I wouldn't end up liking it because of the details you gave Zevran's past, but it really ended up enhancing the story.

You really did a good job of keeping everyone in character- particularly Zevran, who I've always found to be difficult. The creativity level also exceeded expectations.

Definitely one of my favorites.

I just faved this story without reading it because OH MY GOD, MILDMAY, MILDMAY, MILDMAY IS IN A FIC, why are you such a genius.

I think you did an excellent job of getting in Zevran's head; I his actions were very IC, and I enjoyed your take on his character's inner workings muchly. :-)

Great story. I could almost hear Sten bellowing for Wynne as he ran with Tabris in his arms. My favorite line is the one describing Dog's exuberance and being ejected early from his visit. That made me guffaw! I love Dog.

In regards to your portrayal of Zev, it could not have been better. I have written a couple Zevran stories, so I can understand how it can be challenging to convert from Sarcastic Zev to Sincere Zev. I say, well done.

Very nice! I absolutely loved it. Your style and characterization was flawless in my eyes.

You had a hard time? Really. I think you did this quite wonderfully. I had a few catching points here and there with phrasing and such, but mostly it was because you taught me some new vocabulary, heh. You have a very interesting style and pace to this... a bit like a bard's tale as though this is something meant to be spoken aloud with hand gesture emphasis over a campfire. Nicely fitting.

I also second the review noting the depth you've given the rogue. You've woven voice and story so well here.

My brain has encountered an error, but I think I know some of your references. It is no matter though, Zevran is delightfully in character and your Rogue Tabris is a very believable companion. I hope you choose to continue this, if not lots of people, including myself would be very sad.

You're story was excellent! I loved how you portrayed the relationship between Zevran and Tabris(City Elf Origin is my favorite!). Thanks for posting it!
