I LOVE your story. It was one of the first fanfic (Twilight) I read. To tell the truth I reread it many times (I can't count). Thank you for this and particularly for emotions.

Did a re read of this bc it showed up in my email with your authors note at the end. First, sooo crappy that someone plagiarized! Like, holy crap, this was a serious labor of love and for someone else to call it theirs, well that is freaking ridiculous.
Onto my thoughts on this story the second time around:
This really started out as a “bully” story. They all bullied Bella, except maybe Alice, at the beginning. And it was terrible. Edward was the worst of all. I can forgive his man whore ways and his self centered ness... heavens knows teenagers are usually pretty narcasistic, but the bullying for absolutely no reason makes me sad.
I’ve always been confused as to what Bella did to deserve such bullying from literally everyone. Enough that no one even helped her when she choked. She was quiet. So what? She didn’t reach out and make friends or stand up for herself? I still don’t understand how that equates to bullying. She wasn’t ugly. She wasn’t gross. So the bullying by literally everyone makes no sense.

But once we get past the bullying, the story is sweet. I fully believe that Edwards character could redeem himself. I don’t know if Bella should have forgiven him so quick... but damn, she was dealing with so much other crap, I’m glad she didn’t take up any brain real estate in hating him. I didn’t like how he kept referring to his past with girls while he was trying to get Bella to sleep with him. That would have bugged me if I were Bella. So would the fact that he dragged her in the janitors closet where he used to take girls on the daily just to get off. But she seemed to be a much bigger person than I am, and that’s actually amazing and refreshing. The fact that she knew about his gross past with girls, and yet she was able to see him, past all the bullshit. I do wish Edward showed that he felt worse about his past than he did. He even seemed cocky about it in front of Bella.

I was disappointed that Edward mental block was just having sex with Jessica on his piano. That seems to be a weird thing to mess his whole life up with. I mean, he was hooking up with multiple people a day... so I wouldn’t think that would effect him like that. Also, what guy gets that much pussy? No matter how hot and cocky you are- that generally doesn’t happen in high school. But it helped set up his character at the beginning as a major douche so *shrug*

On the whole, great story. So well written and had me in tears for Bella so many times. And Edwards ptsd was hard to read, too. I’m so glad both of them were able to make it out relatively happy. Poor chief swan. He’s a freaking idiot and terrible father, but Renée had him sooo fooled. Such a crazy minipilative bitch.

The whole legend of the black swan was crazy and so well written. I actually feel for Jacob. He’s just a teenager and he was pulled into this crazy that was being perpetuated by adults he trusted. Sure he was terrible, but his situation wasn’t quite as cut and dry either.

Anyways, thank you for sharing this with us. It was overall an amazing story. One I will revisit time and again, I’m sure.
