I think this sort of story is always the most heart-wrenching. The misscommunication if I read it correctly. Asami is trying to be of help, even thinks he /is/ being of help while Takaba very clearly needs something else. Not something drastically different as you've shown, bit something which I feel Asami can't give just yet. And that is after the fact that he doesn't realise that what he is offering isn't working in the first place, at least not in the initial part of the story. It's quite interesting because what binds them to their actions here is who they intrinsically are as people instead of circumstance of very conscious choices. I think that makes for a very, um concentrated, undiluted story, emotionally as it is driven by knee-jerk reactions to my mind unclouded by the cerebral. I enjoyed it very much, a surprisingly thoughtful, complex and touching piece. Impressive to pull all three of them off together, much less in one story and even more in such few words!

This was so delicously dark. A wonderful peek into Aki's mind and feelings after Hong Kong, how much he struggles, how Asami tries to erase it and it still doesn't completely work, even tho Aki is addicted to him. Great work!

I like your story. Its simple yet it captures the emotion that could have happen after the hongkong ark. Though i find the character of asami a little occ but still i like it... And i would really like to read more... To see what happens after chapter 1 yet at the same time the i think just leaving it as one shot gives more impact to the emotions conveyed in the story

For the love of all things yaoi please tell me this is just a teaser fic for some larger Finder fanfic you have planned? I absolutely LOVED this. Your writing is so rich and the emotion is so catching. Poor Takaba! Especially then ending with Asami asking him to stay. Tears man, it almost brought TEARS.

This is a really great story! I love the way you describe Akihito's feelings. It would be neat to see a companion piece from the point of view of Asami. I think your beginning plot could make a great multi-chapter fic about how Asami and Akihito deal with the healing process and their relationship together. I liked the love scene too. Please continue the story!
