LOve to read about John and Rodney and the dynamics that make up their friendship. They compliment each other , totally in a platonic way. It was nice to have McKay be the hero, as mostly I enjoy that position assigned to John. Great descriptions of their predicament and their downward spiral as the lack of decent food and boredom cause their mental and physical breakdown.

Wow. Really good story. I was wondering how you were going make this interesting, and you really did. Making something as simple as 2 people stuck in a cell hold your attention isn't easy. And I liked Rodney being amazing brave at the end. I really enjoyed it. Lisa

Loved this, especially the imagery of the birds running through it, and Rodney finally managing to save one :) I really enjoyed the dialogue between the boys, and I could absolutely picture everything that happened.

Clever solution, too, loved how you wrote Rodney deciding on a plan and carrying it out. Ouch. Very brave of him! And nice ending, too, with him being so concerned for Sheppard. I'm glad that they were both ok in the end!

I really liked this story, characterization was terrific, and the bird-theme was very well done. I particularly liked the team-work required for our boys to be rescued. Terrific job!
