So the reanimated walking corpse, the liar, manipulator and abuser, the one who treated Bella like a...cute pet who peed on the rug a little too much, the rotting meat who didnt think she should run her own life, who kept her at arms length gets all the passion and the living guy who looks like Adonis and has a pulse gets...this? Yeah is just sooooooo romantic. Not.
But it does sound like sick, selfish, self-centered Bella. Poor Jake. Even when he gets what he wants I cant help but think he really doesnt want what he got.

Let me try and put this stuff you write in to perspective. Bella was "in Love with a corpse. Not only that Bella felt weak, unattractive and unintelligent with Eddie. He manipulated ?Bellas insecurities. All the female writers try and explain it as if were too much. Bellas notions on love came from old books. Edward hlped that along by manipulating her sexually and emotionally. Separating her from friends and family, playing on her fears of abandonment. Thats not love - any kind of love at all. I wish writers would touch on these aspects instead of essentially making Jake Bellas fallback position. ?Non of these fics ever make Bella sympathetic. I have read very few of these things that make me want to see Bella prevail. I mean she even defends Edwrad as a mass and serial murderer. What ever she feels for edward is because of what he is. She could care less WHO he is and she shamelessly uses EVERYONE around her. No the stories are not sad or angsty, they are just ugly.

Wonderful one-shot. I love how you depicted the idea of love and I completely agree. And I am glad that at least in this story Bella finally understood what love truly means.
