I really hope Bludgeon gets offlined in a rather satisfying way by both Ironhide AND Iron Will ripping him to shreds.

Poor Annabelle... that just has to hurt! It's amazing she's holding up for so long when the pain must be excruciating. And even though Sarah can't really do something to help her daughter, I'm glad she's there for her.

I admit I'm a bit confused when it comes to the battle scene - everything's happening so fast. I might have to give it one or two more careful rereads to get everything. On the other hand, it might be confusing by intention, seeing it's written from Annabelle's POV and with her mind surely hazy from the pain. The more so I'm glad reinforcements have arrived and the bots are successful in chasing away the 'cons. I hope they didn't arrive too late...

And speaking of hazy minds: Despite the dreadful situation, I'm kind of giggling that Annabelle isn't getting that the supposedly dead forms of herself and her mother are only Hound's holograms, and that her floating is Mirage carrying them - after all, she's seen both mechs' capabilities on the proving grounds. She already saw Hound arrive, but only wonders where Mirage is. Maybe she hasn't hung around the D.C. based bots long enough yet to automatically make the connection.

To sum up, great chapter once again, but like usual, way too short. And another cliffhanger, argh! Keep updating quickly, please! I want to know what's going to happen, especially with Bumblebee! He mustn't die. What will Sam do without brave, loyal Bumblebee?
