This is hilarious! As a person who dislikes most ugly art (okay, I have a soft spot for Goya and I still look at Dali asmuch as I hate it. I kind of noticed the painting in the office in movie, but oddly, I liked it. But tes, killing a person for terrible art taste is completely justified.

The only flaw I can find in this work of REALLY GOOD ART is that there isn't a sequel with Thrawn.

Other than that, this is seriously the most brilliant thing ever.

Fialleril, if you're reading these reviews you've probably grown tired of my saying this, but really - so many amazing works that I've read of yours, and I can't believe I never connected the dots!
It's wonderful to have an excuse to read this again, because I loved it when I first read it (and I was even less in the habit of reviewing than I am now), and when I next read it too. Considering Palpatine's terrible taste in opera/water-spheres-with-ribbon-and-laclkluster-applause, I find it entirely plausible that this scenario would result.

This is dark, and unusual, and hilarious. I love it. :)

I badly wish it had gone down like this. I really do. Aniline the art critic is hillarious and would have been a more intresting naritive to me.

OhdearForce, I think I busted a gut from laughing so hard. Poor, put-upon Anakin, having to endure the horrors of really bad art and Palpatine's horrendous taste in said art. HAHAHAHAHA! So perfect, and so hilarious! "It's nothing personal." Indeed. :D
