Truly outstanding.

I don’t think anything that I’ll say right now will ever measure up to the masterpiece that you have gifted upon the Hetalia fandom. Not only did you have these two characters well done and mastered, but you made them out to be complex and multidimensional—rather than what we usually see in fics.

I especially love the idea that both brothers are trying to clean up their country—which is actually true to life. In canon, Romano was terrified of the mafia and its good to know that you’re treating this subject as a serious matter instead of glorifying it or making it romantic and such.

Furthermore, the banter and interaction between the two were so believable and yet so alien to me. Sweet, useless Veneziano who can swear. Lazy, termperamental Romano who is absolutely dedicated to ridding his side of the house of the vermin. That’s so awesome and wonderful!

Some passages were confusing but I like how it turned out in the end.
I love their brotherly interaction and how you wrote Venziano's character. I had always a soft spot for Mafia!Italies, so seeing N. Italy less innocent and more manipulative made my day.

I can't believe I've never reviewed this before! It's been in my favorites forever and I've read it like a million times.
I love the characterizations of both the brothers and how their attitude changes (really naturally...not even a little OOC! Major Kudos to you for that!) in each others' presence compared to how they usually treat each other. Plus I'd been looking for a really good Mafia fic (If you have any that you really like, please recommend me some!) and this was just perfect!

I especially love how Feliciano neatly slips from the role of sweet little helpless guy to businesslike mafioso and back again, and him saying that he likes being taken care of. Poor Germany will die of shock if he ever sees that side of Feli! XD
