It is short but says so much with those few well chosen words. Not into song fic per se and you make that work by just mentioning the title. You work around that the way Mac and Stella are working around their true feelings.

I really liked this! I like your Mac/Stella writing, and would definitely push for more :D It was a short and lovely fic. I loved Mac coming to help Stella, and the acknowledgement that they help each other. Loved their hands joining, and what Stella says :D

And fits Stella and Mac to a T. God, I hate that episode, I wanted to kill the scumbag myself. My favorite line "He doesn't know when it happened; the day he started wanting more from Stella Bonasera, more from his partner, more from his best friend. Maybe there wasn't a specific day, it just slowly progressed over the nearly twenty years they've known one another." You can feel her pain and his longing. This is gold.
