On the fence about favoriting this because omg. I can feel the angst that you spared us readers from. It's there just hovering, but since I'm still dying from that other fic I cried over, I'm glad all that angst is not here lol.

I absolutely love it! This is exactly the kind of story I would have loved to write! And I find the way you've used the epilogue to fit in the story simply brilliant. Wow! Thank you very much!

It all got too angsty and painful for me given the mood I've been in the past week, so I skim read it. I'll come back and give it the depth of attention it deserves. I just can't quite consider it a happy ending given Ginny's perspective. I did not like JKR pairing Ginny with Harry. The way she did it was so abrupt and random as there was no build up of their relationship at all. I saw more depth of feeling between Harry and Luna and more involvement than the little feisty red haired maiden set apart to be kept "safe". It was very telling that Harry did not even want to seek her out after the final battle and that it was Luna who saw his need to get away from it all.

Really, who the f**k is Ginny really to us or to Harry... and JKR basically threw Draco away on a luxury hotel. And then made him balding but described it in a nasty instead of dignified way. And then said nasty things about how he wasn't ever really going to be that much redeemed/better. Yeah, the sensitive boy crying in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom who fainted when Nagini's teacher ate him is really going to just stay a prat all his life, albeit a marginally better prat? Sorry I do not buy that epilogue!

Yay for fandom for rescuing us from that. All that being said though, even though I am annoyed about Ginny, I really feel for her. She lost a decade of her life to a lie and a facade. As a woman, as a human being, I feel a real disservice was done to her.

Well done on a story that rips at the heart. I hate epilogue compliant stories because I hate the fricking epilogue but I love your writing so I knew this would be worth the pain.

No one is missing the angst ridden ending! I know I'm not! Excellent story. I really enjoy stories with this type of theme. Where they are friends and it turns into something more. Or where one has a crush and the other doesn't know. Feel free to write plenty more other those! I'll be here to read them. I'll always be here reading your stories. You have an amazing talent. Keep it up!
