This was a little bit of a far cry for me. I mean Uhura good but to be able to stand in the same ring as Spock and win is completely crazy. I feel like you make her into a perfect thing and this will decide how Spock comes to view her as Vulcan maybe.

You've crafted a universe which seems, improbably and at every turn, determined to throw these two together. Your Nyota is incredibly goody-two-shoes and naive. And how is Spock, someone who besides being Vulcan meditates hours a day, so out of touch with his feelings? However, I don't care Nerdielady. I love how you manipulate the slow burn and I hope you get my thanks for this story in the ethers because I'm enjoying your gift here in 2018.

This is without any doubt one of the most beautiful & romantic stories I've read. I must add that I've just read it for the third time. They are dating without knowing it! I'm off now to read the sequel. Thank you so much!

These are all lovely stories but you should now that the author, Nerdilady passed on in the spring of 2012. She was a great author and our lives are better for having her works to read.

Um, not going to lie, I did expect him to exult in the smell that clung to Uhura's meditation clothing but him actually sniffing it was way surprising.
I love this fanfic. At first felt sad that wasn't as long as possible then I noticed the sequels!

Although Spock is showing stalkerish signs, I can completely understand his actions; he's not human, and what he's doing is Vulcan (at least I think it is), not to mention he hasn't had much experience with women.

I enjoyed this read very much. :)

Very good first chapter, a good place of dialogue vs non dialogue which most stories I find suffer from. I look forward to reading more!

I realize this is a finished fic but I have a question. But first I have to say I enjoyed thus throughly so far. Your style is clean and pleasant to read. I like that you give both perspectives on the same event. You use engaging language without clutter. And you have kept it simple. I am only a trekkie because of the 2009 movie so when authors use the actual Vulcan or other languages it can be frustrating.
My question is that after reading chap. 4 Uhura seems a bit too wonderful and I am wondering what, if any, real flaws you might give her. Of course her near perfection seems to draw Spock to her and she isn't obnoxiously cocky - both help it be believable.
Anyways now I've written you an essay so I'll leave and go back to reading. I'll let you know more of my thoughts as I go.

I thought this was a nice story. Yes, it was a little cheezy that they kept "coincidentally" ending up together all the time but the story was interesting nonetheless indeed. I also like how each chapter is a title to a song. You must have quite the musical taste as you included songs from different decades as well as genres! Nicely done. BTW, my favorite song from your chapter list is When Will I See You Again by the Three Degrees.
