i know that this was written 5 years ago, and you'll probably never see this review, but i read two chapters of this and i'm already in love. it's amazing.

U KILLED KAKASHI! and Neji! but really good i like but don't like how your storyies have happy and sad ending your an excellent writer

An /untrained/ 16 year-old(!) getting a job at a mental hospital AND being allowed to work with patients AND being given confidential patient files to look at... (Absolutely /none/ of that was legal.)

Not only that, all the secret hidden connections between Naruto and Sasuke AND Neji and Hinata. (You couldn't just leave it at Naruto and Sasuke improbably having a secret past together, you had to give another secret past to Naruto's boyfriend and one of the patients as well.)

And if that wasn't bad enough, Iruka had totally hidden his cancer, chemo, and radiation from Naruto. (Iruka's hair falling out, him being nauseous and fatigued all the time weren't glaring clues that his health wasn't right?)

In short, this fic is utterly divorced from all sense of reality.

Look, this is your fanfic and you can write what you want. But you see, the real world works in a certain way and when you disregard these rules, it's going to bother a lot of your readers. Instead of getting lost in the story and feeling like these things are actually happening to a certain group of people, we are reminded this is a story we are reading and the writer didn't care about doing a little research.

Cancer patients getting treatment can't hide their condition because radiation essentially cooks your body. A person's general health will suffer. And 16 year-olds do not get hired to work at mental hospitals as though they are credentialed professionals. IT DOES NOT HAPPEN. So when you write those things, things we know cannot possibly be real, it makes the story hard to accept, no matter how much we might otherwise like to.
