The relationship progression between Yuuno and Fate is remarkably well-paced, and it seems we're finally about to get some idea of what this case is about.

All in all, this is a great fic series with excellent writing, and I heartily recommend it to everyone who... no, actually, I heartily recommend this series to everyone, period.

I am a really huge supporter of Yuuno for some reason (probably because he doesn't get the screen time he deserves after A's), but because of that I really welcome all stories with Yuuno in it (as long as it's not Yuuno bashing). Great story! I really like the mystery twist to it.

Please try to give Hayate more screen time in the future!(she's actually my favorite character in MGLN too :D )

Really great stuff dude! Can't wait for an update. I just wanna know; how do you handle it? I just made one fanfic that isn't about Fate and Nanoha (as a couple) and I have had so many angry emails from different users. :-( How do you handle it all?

Well, I have been pleasantly surprised once again. While not as wordy as some other fics I have read, I still enjoyed this and its prequel thoroughly. If I had anything add it would be to add more details. Other than that, everything has been pretty much fine.

I really enjoy the mystery aspect to these, even if there is far less action than what is normal of Nanoha. I also am interested in this odd pairing you have going here, as there are very few Yuuno/Fate fics that don't have Nanoha mixed in there somewhere.

It's strange though, I haven't seen shipping wars ever as bad as I've seen in this section. Geez.

You commented on zero sense of style, but allow me to comment on that anyway :) Style aside, rather ask: would this be something the characters would wear. Yuuno aside, i can't picture Fate wearing a white, ankle length "skirt". Her color of choice is black, and i don't think we have ever seen her wear anything but the usual above-knees skirt. Make-up ? I can't picture any of the Nanoha main cast even considering that, doesn't look like them at all :)

As for the chapter itself, i would say it felt a bit rushed - like you glossed over a number of events to get to the main thing - the creature at the end. Never the less, i wasn't expecting it (whatever it is) appearing, so i am rather interested to see where that goes next, as well as how things are going to move between the two. Keep it up :)

Somewhat expected of a chapter, and you certainly used every cliche in the book :) Still a pretty good read, and i am looking towards the upcoming chapter to see how their "date" goes. My one criticism would be your very short sentences at times - try expanding them, make them longer - makes the writing better flowing, a lot of 5 or so word sentences at a time make for a rather clunky reading - expand them to make it better flowing, combine sentences via a coma, etc - good luck, and awaiting the next chapter.

Well, I'm enjoying the story so far, it's interesting to see how Fate sees the dinners versus how Yuuno does. It looks like he and Nanoha share a couple of traits. Though at least he is starting to catch on.

It will be interesting to see Fate's reaction to what he said.

Though I am still curious about what Nanoha's reaction is to findout that Fate didn't tell her about the charge against Yunno.

good stuff, yeah sometimes you gotta go through the appetizers before you get to the meat and potatoes of any story so this was a good build up for the great stuff that is to come. Keep it up and keep em coming

Not bad for a start, and looks like this one is going to get pretty messy. I do wonder though if you weren't inspired by Umineko no Naku Koro Ni with said slaughter scene, given the confetti mention:)

After having just read through the first installment of your fic, i can say i like it. The first one might have been somewhat cliche in the general setup and in the way the villain fell for it in the end (lol at scooby-doo reference), and it had some of the usual convenient elements to keep it shorter, like Fate not telling Nanoha about it (don't tell me she ended up not knowing, that had got to be a hot topic, and then we have Chrono and plenty of other people who would tell her), and Yuuno's case generally being shelved so fast - the "upper ranks" (whomever they might be, shouldn't Admirals be there?) wanting it over quickly or not, Yuuno's friends should have plenty of political power and ranks in the military behind them to ensure the case doesn't get downed in a day.

Also, for all the logic behind the accusations of Yuuno, one detail didn't make all that much sense, and i am surprised it was introduced just like that and no one commented on it - why would the murder want to put on the victim's hat and coat - it can't really serve any logical purpose i can think of (aside from being a set-up scenario, a fairly obvious one i would think).

That aside though, the story was well written and refreshing to read - your writing is certainly good and flows well, and the idea of an eventual Fate/Yuuno is a good potential ground to explore, one that is sadly underused, as most people indeed seem to forget he has known her for as long as he has Nanoha. Don't mind all the trolls that can't help but put down anything but their most preferred pairing that has been scarily blown out of proportion and logic, and keep doing your own thing - i am sure there are more people out there who appreciate what you do, and keep writing as long as you have fun. That, and a potential "catfight" (though i am sure it wouldn't escalate to that) between Nanoha and Fate in their eventual confrontation about the issue of Yuuno should be fun :) Will be waiting for your next chapter on this new story, both to see what you do with the plot and relationships.
