Although i imagine if it was actively running like that continuously then his mental breakdown would
already have occurred.
But he still has control and intersect is still telling him what he can do. Like when he flashes and he then uses his own thought process to make use of the information.
In this way the intersect is like an always running process, that would overtake control.
Not saying that it can't be kept in background forever, but you have to admit; Daemon processes are just that, they start by themselves and keep running in the background and you cannot do anything about it.
( A Daemon process is a name for background processes that keep running in the background triggered by an event, and keep running in the background without your knowledge. )

Wow. That was really interesting. It almost made the Intersect feel sentient, which was slightly weird, but I loved the added dimension of it.

I'm also a big fan of the message that people are unpredictable. There's something there that computers just can't do. That in itself is a big part of the reason that I'm a writer.

Anyway, loved this.

I remember Favorited this story and loving it a lot this was one of the story's I most wished was extended into a full story after all I was shocked when I realized I never reviewed this amazing piece of work so here is my review,

That was really AWESOME! I liked the percentages and all the ways the Intersect gave Chuck to make desicions and I liked how Chuck made the right choice to not follow the Intersect at the end. AWESOME JOB!
