This was a charming chapter. Troy and Gabby reconnected. Parents need to do from time to time to play hooky from work. Jon just pushed the idea forward with his notes.

I liked that Troy and Gabby both got Jon from school and explained everything to him. He was relieved and understood his parents disagreement better. It is ok for parents to get mad at each other, but they will still love each other.

I love family time. I think it's great that they chose to go spend time with Jon Boy and talk to him about what happened and the notes. I love what Troy said about them being normal people. In the movies, you don't really see them as "normal"- just always happy, so to speak- and so we always just assume that they "lived happily ever after" without any bumps in their future. I love that we get an insight to "real life" for them and their kids. It kinda makes them more human- despite the fictional world in which they were created!
