I managed to some-how miss the Deadfic warning so it really surprised me when I got to the end, but as I mentioned before, I think this is the way I would want Dean to die.

Nice job. But it does make sense doesn't it? Dean was supposed to be dead a long time ago and now he has earned his rest. I'm glad Cas was there to help him through and I know that Dean didn't go back to hell.

I wish you'd labeled this as a deathfic in the summary, I don't normally read those.

But this was really well done. Very sad. Loved Cas comforting Dean, sitting with him, telling him angels were watching over him. At least it was a gentle death. *sniffle*
