That ending though. Big oof. I understand why Sam did what he did— his reasoning makes sense— but he's left his friends with the biggest burden of all. They have to live on without him, and I think Sam is too focused on the big picture to really— truly— see that. For him the struggle is over, but for his friends, they will have to endure his passing forever. Makes me really sad for Op and Bee, especially.

Regardless of my personal feelings on the bittersweet ending, this was truly excellent. A great read all the way through; thanks for taking the time to write it.

Love all but the last chapter. I do not accept it. Nope. Nuh uh. Sam upgraded to a mech and loved happily ever after with his brother and family. Yup. That’s totally what happened

I'm so sad about this. i'm so sad that this had to end. there's just no explaining how i feel right now. i cried ya know. this is just so sad TTTT. i have so much feels. but, thank you so much for taking the time to write this story.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to get me to cry real tears over fanfiction anymore? Yet you manage with such ease...and in such a beautifully sculpted manner that I find it difficult to stop.
