What! It's not on my favorite list. I Can't Believe that i haven't read this before. This is just so beautiful. The way you capture their dynamic is just... I dont know. I praise you for this fic. It was long sure but worth it.

The ending of this fic is particularly good. The "if only" device was a very effective way of summarizing the fic and tying the all the emotions together. Very well written, very well done, and very inspiring for a fellow writer :)

This was an incredibly moving story! :) I love how well you portray the characters. I could see them acting and talking exactly like this on the show. And I feel the same way. :) If only, huh?

I found this surfing through 221b Baker Street's favorites and was blown away by the subtle intensity and wonderful pros. I've read it twice, and each time I'm in awe of your ability to sink into each character's head, then have them speak inperfect canon voice about things we'll never see.

The longing, the hurt, and the loneliness are palpable - emotions we know Jane must feel, but all we ever get to see is the mask. I love the unspoken "what ifs" he and Lisbon think about.

This is such a beautifully done story, and I very much hope it isn't your last Mentalist fic. I'm most definitely favorite-ing this! Bravo!

I've been obsessed with the Mentalist since it came out and have read most of the fics around here and I have to say this is hands down one of the best written ones. I could just see it actually happen. I didn't even stop once to look at grammar or any of that jazz. It was soo beautifully written, eloquent and poignant. I wish I knew the words to say just how much emotion I could feel in my mentslist midscape... :) That was probably the most long winded way ever of saying Well Done :)

Ok, I read this when it was first posted, but am just now getting around to reviewing it. I loved this. It was so well done, and just different from the norm. I really liked it. And now, I don't remember what all I was going to say, other than it was really well written, and parts of it made me kind of tear up a little. It was that good.

Wow. This was so good. lol, that could be the inner Jisbon fan speaking, but yeah. Quite lovely and very fair to their complex feelings. Great story!

*sniff* Oh! Poor Lisbon. *hugs her*

Hopefully, she'll offer him her couch one day.
