Cute episodic story of young Henry and his mom, showing Henry's charactor, both the pausitives and the flaws or differences (I guess they aren't really flaws since they aren't inherantly bad things, just different than what his mom wants for him.) You write well and stories written in little vignettes like this are fun, especially in regards to the growing up years of a child, capturing highlights for the reader. The one thing that seemed slightly confusing was the use of Henry's birth at the end of the story, I think you were going for a full circle feeling but it confused me a little, I got it at the end though so it was okay. Nicely written and good portrayal of Marian.

I loved this. Excellent. You can truly visualize how Mutt would be as he grew up. So like Marion with a sharp mouth, but really his father's son, caring adventurous and not afraid to risk himself for someone else. I loved this. Hope you do more.

A special delight to read. I loved budding mechanic Mutt and how he got kicked out of his posh school. Your touch with character development and wording is amazing. And kudos to you for showing Mation struggling with new motherhood (it's not all Kodak moments) as well as showing her falling in love with Henry Jones I.
